Easy sizing guide
- Lead acid / AGM: avoid regularly discharging below about 50% if long life matters.
- LiFePO₄: commonly allows deeper usable capacity, but must use the correct BMS and charger profile.
- Cold or hot conditions: add reserve capacity because real-world performance drops under harsh conditions.
- High inverter loads: check surge current, cable size, fusing and voltage drop before installation.

Required Ah = Daily Wh × days ÷ system voltage ÷ inverter efficiency ÷ depth of discharge × temperature factor.
